Agency Contract Maintainer

Role Description and Responsibilities

This role is only applicable to agencies (11000-LEG, 41000-DLA, and 42000-DACS) statutorily exempt from using FACTS.

The Agency Contract Maintainer is the agency role responsible for ensuring accurate contract information is recorded, uploading Contract information to add or modify data, and updating the Contract ChartField Status. Role responsibilities include:

• Enters information on the Contract Information Page.
• Adds and updates contract ChartField values.
• Ensures accurate Contract information is recorded.
• Reviews and updates contract ChartFields by the Agency CT Processor.
• Creates and uploads the Inbound Contract Spreadsheet Upload file (CTI002).
• Manages and resolves spreadsheet upload errors.

Conflicts with Other Roles

The table below includes the roles that conflict with the Agency Contract Maintainer, including separation of duty (SOD) conflicts and system enforced restrictions. If an agency identifies a SOD conflict that cannot be resolved, the agency must submit justification and compensating controls to Division of Accounting and Auditing (A&A) to request an exception. A&A will review the agency’s submitted request to determine if an exception will be granted.
