Conversion Description
This conversion design aims to convert and load Customer data from Agency Business System or FLAIR as a starting point for the conversion. However, additional data points will be needed for required fields (e.g., Since Date, Customer Type, Primary Bill To, Primary Ship To, Primary Sold to) which will need to be reviewed by agencies before converting to Florida PALM. The process will convert active customers that are relevant to agency or enterprise operations in Florida PALM going forward. This will enable each agency to maintain accounts receivable by customer and associate customer with transactions in Florida PALM. Customer conversion data from these sources will be compiled and uploaded for processing as defined in the D638 - Updated Data Conversion and Migration Strategy. Agencies will be responsible for ensuring that the data to be converted is accurate and ready for conversion.
For this conversion, the custom Inbound Customer Data (ARI009) program will be leveraged to read the customer file and load data into Florida PALM. The same ARI009 interface layout will be utilized by agencies to create the customer file.
