Interface Description
The Inbound Interface for Project Details is intended to provide agency users with the ability to systematically establish and/or update project information within Florida PALM from their Agency Business System. Agencies using projects to capture, track, and report financial and non-financial information have the option to utilize this inbound interface to seamlessly provide information to the Florida PALM application. Using this option provides the agencies with a method other than manually accessing Florida PALM and entering this information each time a new project is established and/or an update is needed for an established project. Updates such as project title, project description, project status, project beginning and end dates, and various other project specific information can be handled with this interface. Agencies will be able to readily access project information within Florida PALM and compare project information stored within their Agency Business Systems.

Record Code | Project Header | Indicates Project Header information. This field is the row identifier and should be added at the start of each header row. |
PC Business Unit | Project Header | Used to define an organization or organizational subset that is independent with regards to one or more accounting or operational functions for Project related ChartFields. |
Project | Project Header | Represents the Project ChartField which is used to capture a planned undertaking of something to be accomplished or produced, having a beginning and ending date, for which expenditures/costs and revenues are to be tracked. |

Project Description | Project Header | Project Description to briefly define the project's purpose. This field is also used as the Project's Title. |

Project End Date | Project Header | Represents the date that the project ends. The end date has to be greater than or equal to Project's Activity End Date. |
Is this a Construction Project? | Project Header | This will be a question in the file layout but will be reflected as an Event which will be configured in Florida PALM. |
