Interface Description
The API016 Inbound interface reads new and updated supplier information from the file inbound from the W-9 System. The W-9 system provides additional data to be associated with the supplier record in Florida PALM. This data is used for the purpose of updating W-9 details on the supplier record for 1099 Reporting.
The custom API016 process consists of the following functions:
- Process inbound “Inbound W-9 Updates file” from W-9 system.
- Update the Supplier record with W-9 data if the supplier exists in Florida PALM.
- Supplier is matched based on “Tax Identification Type Code” and “Tax Identifier Number”; If there is a Supplier match between Inbound W-9 file and Florida PALM, then the W9 details from the W9 file is updated in Florida PALM Supplier profile.
- The W9 application will send a full data file of all verified additions and all updates including inactivation.

IRS/Legal Name | Details | Supplier name in the W-9 system. This name is used on the Form 1099 and also populated as the Withholding name in the Supplier record of Florida PALM. |
TIN Match Status | Details | Identifies whether the supplier's W-9 form has been verified or made inactive. |
TIN Match Date | Details | Identifies the date when the TIN Matching occurred. |
Business Designation | Details | Identifies the supplier's W-9 business designation. |
1099 Address Line 1 | Details | Designates the 1099 Address. |
1099 Address Line 2 | Details | Additional 1099 Address information |
