Role Description and Responsibilities
The Security Access Manager is responsible for provisioning end users and assigning business roles in the Florida PALM Identity Access Management (IAM) tool. Information about a SAM’s current CMS Wave responsibilities and capabilities can be found in the Florida PALM Security Access Management User Manual.
Within Florida PALM, for the Financials and Payroll implementation, there is only one role that is assigned to an agency SAM. The SAM Organization Security Maintainer is the agency role responsible for assigning Organization Security Rules in Florida PALM to end users that are assigned Accounts Payable, Asset Management and/or Purchasing module business roles where access to data is governed by Organization Security.
