Role Description and Responsibilities
The Agency AM Asset Administrator is the agency role responsible for updating and maintaining Asset Management configuration values. Role responsibilities include:
- Updates and maintains Asset Management configuration values that are administered at the agency level.
- Creates and maintains locations.

Conflicts with Other Roles
The table below includes the roles that conflict with the Agency AM Asset Administrator, including separation of duty (SOD) conflicts and system enforced restrictions. If an agency identifies a SOD conflict that cannot be resolved, the agency must submit justification and compensating controls to Division of Accounting and Auditing (A&A) to request an exception. A&A will review the agency’s submitted request to determine if an exception will be granted.

- The Agency AM Asset Administrator has the ability to access pages which provide the option to view or edit information for any asset within the Business Unit and to run ad-hoc batch processes for assets within the Business Unit.
- The Agency AM Asset Administrator establishes/maintains Asset Control requested by a DFS AM Asset Administrator, Agency AM Asset Processor, Agency AM F&A Processor, and an Agency AM Asset Custodian. The role can also run batch processes ad-hoc for Agency AM Asset Processors and perform asset updates for Agency AM Asset Processors.
