Conversion Description
Grant values within Florida PALM are used to track financial activity for federal, state, private, local, or other financial assistance, that provides support or stimulation to accomplish a public purpose. The conversion process is needed to ensure current and active grant information is properly migrated from the existing state approved business systems to the Florida PALM system.
Grant data will be extracted from FLAIR, formatted to align with the conversion layout detailed in this design document, and uploaded for processing as defined in the Updated Data Conversion and Migration Strategy (D638). Agencies will be responsible for ensuring that the data to be converted is accurate and ready for conversion. This functional design document is intended to provide clarity of the file layout and the data elements that are expected to be received.
