Interface Description
Florida PALM Project Costing module is used for creating and maintaining Projects and their associated budgets or spend plans. The Project Costing module must be used for all Fixed Capital Outlay (FCO) but may be utilized for any project the Agency may need to track and report expenses and associated revenues.
The Project Costing module also provides additional Project Specific ChartFields that can be associated to the Project’s budget and/or recorded on Project related transactions.
Users will use these and other Project Costing specific fields to report on project budgets, costs, and revenue. While at least one Activity is required to be established for each project, the Project Source Type, Project Category, and Project Subcategory are optional.
With this Outbound Interface, general Project information and the associated Project budgetary information will be extracted from Florida PALM and interfaced to an Agency Business System.

Project ID | Project Header | Represents the Project ChartField which is used to capture a planned undertaking of something to be accomplished or produced, having a beginning and ending date, for which expenditures/costs and revenues are to be tracked. |

Description | Project Header | Project Description to briefly define the project's purpose. This field is also used as the Project's Title. |
Project Type | Project Header | Identifies the type of Project. |
Percent Complete | Project Header | Represents the progress of a project and to assess progress at different levels of the project cycle. |
Start Date | Project Header | Represents the project start date. The start date have to be before or equal to Project's Activity Start Date. |
End Date | Project Header | Represents the date that the project ends. The end date have to be greather than or equal to Project's Activity end date. |
