Interface Description
Florida PALM Project Costing module is used for creating and maintaining Projects and their associated budgets or spend plans. The Project Costing module must be used for all Fixed Capital Outlay (FCO) but may be utilized for any project the Agency may need to track and report expenses and associated revenues.
The Project Costing module also provides additional Project Specific ChartFields that can be associated to the Project’s budget and/or recorded on Project related transactions.
Users will use these and other Project Costing specific fields, to report on project budgets, costs, and revenue. While at least one Activity is required to be established for each project, the Project Source Type, Project Category, and Project Subcategory are optional.
This spreadsheet upload will be used to upload the Budgetary information for an already existing Project within Florida PALM. The custom spreadsheet upload process will update the Budgetary information on a project, based on the details provided in the file. Once the Budgetary information is uploaded successfully, the Budget plan will be available for Finalization.
