Role Description and Responsibilities
The Agency GL COA Maintainer is responsible for managing the configuration of Agency-specific ChartField values, requesting Statewide ChartField values, and assisting with edit check errors. Role responsibilities include:
- Initiates, approves, updates, or denies ChartField Request Form for agency-specific ChartField values.
- Completes and loads ChartField mass spreadsheet upload.
- Completes and submits Budgetary Value Combination Edit Upload.
- Initiates, approves, or denies SpeedKey Request Form to configure SpeedKeys.
- Initiates the Fund Questionnaire Form.
- Initiates and updates ChartField Request Form for Statewide ChartField values.
- Reviews and assists with researching ChartField Edit Check errors in Florida PALM.

Conflicts with Other Roles
The table below includes the roles that conflict with the Agency GL COA Maintainer, including separation of duty (SOD) conflicts and system enforced restrictions. If an agency identifies a SOD conflict that cannot be resolved, the agency must submit justification and compensating controls to the Division of Accounting and Auditing (A&A) to request an exception. A&A will review the agency’s submitted request to determine if an exception will be granted.
