Interface Description
SpeedKeys are helpful for users to select the appropriate SpeedKey to create transactions within each module in Florida PALM. SpeedKeys are most relevant for these modules: General Ledger (GL), Commitment Control (KK), Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
The Outbound SpeedKey interface provides details for below SpeedKeys in a pre-defined Pipe (|) Delimited TXT formatted flat file:
- Approved, active, and inactive SpeedKeys
- Single line and Multiple line SpeedKeys
- Payroll and Non-Payroll SpeedKeys
The output file is available for Agency Business Systems and Enterprise partners.

The interface data selection criteria includes the following:

| SetID | SpeedKey Header | SetID is a value used in Florida PALM to define setup data. It allows the sharing of common setup data across Business Units or specific to Business Unit |
| SpeedKey | SpeedKey Header | The SpeedKey aims to simplify and enhance data entry efficiency within Florida PALM by leveraging the delivered functionality of SpeedType, SpeedChart, and Accounting Tags. SpeedKey combines the benefits of these three functionalities. |
| Effective Date | SpeedKey Header | Designates the date the SpeedKey value is available for use within Florida PALM |
| Effective Status | SpeedKey Header | Effective status identifies whether the SpeedKey is active or inactive. Effective status enables the system to select the appropriate effective-dated rows, when combined with the effective date field. |

| Budget Entity | SpeedKey Detail | Budget Entity ChartField represents organizations and/or functions to which appropriations are made and typically represents a program. |

| State Program | SpeedKey Detail | State Program is used to identify the plan for an organization and use of resources to meet specified objectives of the State. |
| Grant | SpeedKey Detail | Grant ID value used to track financial assistance that provides support or stimulation to accomplish a public purpose. |
| Contract | SpeedKey Detail | Contract ChartField captures expenditure and revenue transactions for two party agreements. |
